Inside Michael Owen's huge £4 million mansion where ITV Love Island star Gemma Owen lives

Michael Owen's daughter is one of the contestants of this year's Love Island which returned to our screens for its eighth series this week. Gemma Owen, 19, was part of the original line-up who entered the Mallorcan villa on Monday night (June 13) for a chance at finding love.

Despite spilling her surname, Gemma's fellow Islanders do not yet know that her dad is the legendary former Liverpool and Manchester United striker - but she has dropped some hints that she is from a wealthy family.

The international dressage rider has revealed that she lives at home with her family - and 12 horses. Gemma, who is currently coupled up with 27-year-old Italian heartthrob Davide from Manchester, also told some of the boys that her dad is 'into sports'.

Although Gemma introduced herself as being from Chester, the Owen's family home, called Lower Soughton Hall, is near Mold in Wales.

The £4 million mansion spans 42 acres and has been home to the Owens since 2001, with Michael and his wife Louise moving in two years before their eldest daughter Gemma was born.

Living in the family home now are Michael, Louise, Gemma and her three younger siblings Emily, Jessica and James.

Back in 2019 Michael gave ITV a peek inside their incredible Grade II listed property during an episode of Keith Lemon's game show Through the Keyhole.

The exclusive tour of his beautiful family home in the small Welsh village of Northop showed off the huge open-plan kitchen, indoor pool with a jacuzzi, private gym, bar and a cinema room.

There was also a games room that hosts some of Owen's treasured trophies as well as a number of football shirts and footballs.

Viewers also got to see the stables, where Gemma likely keeps her 12 horses, as well as the rest of the extensive grounds which boast two cottages, two flats, a coach house and three greenhouses, NorthWalesLive reports.

As it is set in the countryside, the home has a rural feel with a classic interior complete with big windows, light and spacious rooms and wooden exposed beams.
