Rightmove has revealed the most viewed property in Merseyside in 2022.
A five bedroom detached house, on Shireburn Road, Freshfield has been named the most popular home, after more people viewed that than any other property for sale in the area. Rightmove’s property expert, Tim Bannister, said: "From homes with years of history, to contemporary pads with every modern feature available, this year millions of people have been looking at the most amazing homes on the market on Rightmove.
"Many of us have thought about where we could live if money was no object, and this shows in the most viewed homes of the year which have captured the imagination of people across Great Britain during 2022." The home has been listed amongst properties such as a £5,000,000 home in Chippenham used in the BBC’s Pride & Prejudice and a £4,000,000 coastal retreat in Carlyon Bay.

Here on Merseyside, the Shireburn Road home, was built in 2015. Designed by Shedkm architects, with the current owners, the property has been described as "architectural inspiring" with subtle Scandinavian undertones.
It's found secluded down a tree-lined private road, off Victoria Road that's nicknamed Millionaires Row. The street is known to regularly feature on the Land Registry as having the most expensive property sales.
It also draws in famous buyers, thanks to the amount of “outstanding” homes on the road that have hotel-like luxuries such as pools and walk-in wardrobes. This home in particular has plenty of modern features including a cinema room and gym.

The Stephanie Macnab Estate Agents listing reads: "Seldom does a property of such quality, style and imagination come to the market, and we are absolutely delighted to have been selected to showcase this award-winning property.
"This magnificent home was constructed in 2015 and the RIBA awards jury at the time, commented 'the resultant villa is essentially modernist, but with subtle undertones of Scandinavia with an uncanny sense of ‘home’ provided by the client within an architecturally geometric framework.'
"They went on to say this was 'an elegant and flowing house of generous proportions that is unexpectedly unpretentious.' Shedkm refers to this as a ‘house for an art lover’ and we believe this perfectly captures the look and feel of the property."
