Manchester City's dominant win over Arsenal means a third successive Premier League title is firmly within their grasp.
The Gunners had the chance to wrestle back some momentum on Wednesday night when they headed to the Etihad, but were outclassed from minute one as the champions closed to within two points - with two games in hand - as their winning run continued.
City's recent record against Arsenal didn't give the north Londoners reason to be optimistic and they went behind early on to a Kevin De Bruyne goal. The Belgian later got a second with John Stones and Erling Haaland also getting on the scoresheet, which ignited post-match celebrations.
Jack Grealish led those in the City dressing room as they shared photos on social media. The playmaker continued his impressive campaign with another strong performance in Manchester having replaced Saturday's hat-trick hero, Riyad Mahrez, in the starting XI.
The England star wrote: “Nights like these at Etihad don’t get much better! A long way still to go! Cmon the boys! CITEHHHH." He posed for a snap with Haaland, who quite literally let his hair down, with the Norwegian also breaking Mohamed Salah's record for goals in a 38-game season by netting his 33rd of the campaign.
Bernardo Silva and his compatriot Ruben Dias also posed for a celebratory snap. The pair continue to produce their usual quality, although the latter will no doubt be slightly frustrated that City gave up their clean sheet late on due to Rob Holding's consolation strike.

The win was City's seventh on the bounce in the league with manager Pep Guardiola's treble hopes gathering momentum. Arsenal appear to be heading in the wrong direction at the wrong time with their defeat their fourth successive game without a win ahead of the visit of Chelsea next week, before they travel to Newcastle.
Guardiola was keen to play down City's current position, highlighting how they're still behind Arsenal in the table. He said: "We cannot lose our focus. Now it's in our hands. These next three games will dictate if we can do what we want to do. The reality is we're still behind Arsenal. It will not be easy for us, but it is game by game and we see what happens. When it's in our hands, we have to use it."
City's next outing is a trip to Fulham before they host West Ham with a Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid to come. Mikel Arteta refused to rule out Arsenal's title chances despite their major blow: "We are where we are with five games to go. Those players deserve a lot of credit, to be where we are after nine and a half months. There are still five games to play."
