Keanu Reeves is known for being particularly private about his love life, but he put on a rare loved-up display with girlfriend Alexandra Grant over the weekend.
The Canadian actor, 58 was spotted kissing with the American visual artist as they celebrated the Museum of Contemporary Art Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday, the Mirror reports.
Alexandra was seen affectionately putting her arm round her boyfriend as they posed on the red carpet together. While The Matrix star has previously been notoriously private about his romance, here's what is known of his love list - including A-list stars, a heart-breaking tragedy and a potential marriage.
Keanu and Alexandra went public with their relationship in 2019 while they dated for a couple of months after being friends for years. The pair are understood to have first met all the way back in 2009 and have since worked together on multiple projects.
In 2011, Alexandra illustrated Keanu's book Ode to Happiness as well as his 2016 book Shadows. The pair also co-own X Artists Book which they founded in 2017.
Keanu recently treated fans to an insight of their private romance when he was asked to name his 'last moment of bliss'. He told People: "A couple of days ago with my honey. We were in bed. We were connected.
"We were smiling and laughing and giggling. Feeling great. It was just really nice to be together."
Jill Schoelen
Keanu formerly dated Jill Schoelen in the 80s after they met while on set of the 1986 film Babes in Toyland. They played on-screen lovers but their romance continued off-screen as the actors dated for three years before deciding to call time on their relationship.
Jill moved on to heartthrob Brad Pitt who she was engaged to for three months before they also called it quits.
Jennifer Syme
Keanu began dating budding Hollywood production assistant Jennifer Syme in 1999 after they met at a party for his rock band Dog Star. The couple instantly fell in love and quickly fell pregnant with their first child but their dreams were cruelly shattered when their baby daughter Ava arrived stillborn.
Ava was born eight months on Christmas Eve just a month before Jennifer's due date. The American actress is said to have suffered post-natal depression after the couple's devastating loss and they were ultimately torn apart by grief.
The couple stayed friends after the split but tragedy struck once again when Jennifer was killed in a crash in 2001 just days after she reportedly had brunch with Keanu.
Sandra Bullock
Keanu and Sandra Bullock met on the set of the action film Speed in 1994. The stars kicked it off immediately and rumours of a suspected romance soon surrounded the pair.
During separate interviews on the Ellen DeGeneres show, both Sandra and Keanu confessed they had crushes on one another while filming the movie. The actress admitted that while she had fancied Keanu during filming, it never went everywhere.
Keanu told the TV host: "She obviously didn't know I had a crush on her either".
Winona Ryder
The actor was good friends with Winona Ryder for decades and admitted he thinks they could have actually been married for 30 years.
The two co-starred in Bram Stoker's Dracula in 1992 in which their characters got married. However, it sounds as if the scene ended becoming more realistic than they initially thought it would be.
In an interview with Esquire, Keanu explained: "We did a whole take of a marriage ceremony with real priests. Winona says we are. Coppola says we are. So, I guess we're married under the eyes of God."
Winona has also spoken of their 'marriage', telling Entertainment Weekly in 2018: "We actually got married in Dracula.
"No, I swear to god I think we're married in real life. In that scene, Francis used a real Romanian priest. We shot the master and he did the whole thing. So, I think we're married."
Amanda De Cadenet
Amanda de Cadenet opened up about her romantic pursuit of the Hollywood star in her book It's Messy: Essays on Boys, Boobs and Badass women.
The two appeared to publicly date but it was quite short lived. Amanda wrote: "We met when I was two months pregnant, 19 years old, and married to another man.
"Within minutes of first laying eyes on him, I remember thinking, 'I wonder how many pregnant women have affairs?' I was surprised by my strong attraction to a man I had just met."
Amanda said Keanu initially rejected her as she said he was a 'man with hard-core ethics' but the couple went on a date together after she filed for divorce.
