Carl Woods shocked fans when he announced his split from Katie Price today and accused the former glamour model of being unfaithful.
Since meeting in 2020, the pair have been plagued with rumours of splitting up, a pretend wedding in Vegas and now bombshell cheating allegations.
Katie, 44, hit it off with the car salesman, 33, in 2020 after being by introduced by mutual friends.
The mum-of-five has been unlucky in love throughout her life – but reckoned it was different when she met Carl.
But, after just over three years together, Carl announced he and Katie are over for good in an explosive video. Here, we take a look at their rocky romance.
Whirlwind engagement
Soon after they went Instagram official with their relationship, Katie confirmed she was engaged to Carl when she flashed a huge sparkler on her ring finger in April 2021 – just short of a year after the pair first met.
The couple shared their news on Good Morning Britain with Katie musing: "I know so many people out there are like, ‘Oh yeah, we’ve heard this before.’
"Yeah, because I’ve rushed into things so much, made wrong choices but my head wasn’t right. My head is so right now, I’m a different person."
The former glamour model even said she and Carl had picked a date for their big day while chatting to her makeup artist on Instagram earlier this year.
After MUA Fern took to Instagram to inform eager fans she was now taking bookings for wedding dates from 2022 to 2023, Katie wrote in the comments section: "Yes we have our date."
Matching tattoos
In 2021, Carl revealed he'd inked a third tattoo of Katie's face on his arm.
The couple previously got each other's faces tattooed in 2020 as Carl announced he wants Katie to become "Mrs Woods".
The car dealer's last tattoo of Katie is the biggest to date, which he had inked over his entire right arm while the couple were in Turkey last year.
Vegas trip
In November 2021, Carl was forced to deny rumours the couple were getting hitched in Las Vegas as the pair enjoyed a holiday in the gambling hotspot.
During their holiday, the couple shared videos of a chapel and were spotted picking up a wedding licence, leaving fans questioning whether they had said "I do" in a secret ceremony.
Baby plans
During their three-year romance, Katie and Carl discussed plans to have a baby of their on a number of occasions.
Mum-of-five Katie has made no secret of the fact she'd like to have a sixth child.
The pair have been spotted going into a fertility clinic several times with Katie telling Good Morning Britain shortly after their engagement: "This is going to be the year for me. Babies, marriage, I want it all."
Adding further fuel to the couple's baby plans, the Pricey commented on a picture posted by Billie Faiers in April, which showed three pushchairs from her My Babiie range.
Admiring the selection, Katie gushed: "Yes when I have a baby this is the pram."
Split rumours
Katie and Carl were surrounded by reports they had split up in March this year.
Amid the drama, Katie ditched her engagement ring for an Instagram video, while Carl deleted all trace of their romance from his social media account.
According to reports, Carl didn’t trust the mum-of-five, with a source telling The Sun : "Carl believes Katie went behind his back with another man."
However the pair made up – before they were reported to have split up again.
The couple were said to have called it quits on August 11 this year when a fan asked Katie if she was still with Carl in the comments of her TikTok video.
As the OnlyFans star was asked by the follower "you still with Karl" [sic], Katie appeared to have simply responded with: "No".
But after fans reacted with supportive messages, Katie denied the comment, insisting: "My account was hacked! I want to confirm I’m still with my fiancé Carl Woods."
Thailand trip
Katie's trip to Thailand this month reportedly ended in disaster due to one of the star's exes.
Sources claimed the former glamour model and her future husband clashed during a recent trip to Thailand, after Katie commented on a post shared by her ex Kris Boyson's new fiancee.
They alleged Katie 'doesn't seem to care' about the fact Carl may be unhappy with her social media activity, and claimed the mum-of-five may have even purposely interacted with her ex's new partner in order to wind the former Love Island wannabe up.
The source stated Carl 'isn't a fan' of Kris and recalls how the car dealer and Katie clashed earlier this year when he accused his fiancée of messaging Kris behind his back.
Bombshell video
However, today there doesn't seem to be any confusion about the couple's status.
In a bombshell video, Carl claimed his fiancée had cheated on him.
Talking to the camera, looking distinctly unimpressed, he said: "So, there's no easy way for me to say this and to be honest with you, it's quite embarrassing. But me and Kate, are not together anymore. I found out yesterday that Katie cheated on me. She's admitted that she cheated on me. She slept with somebody else.
"So yeah, that's the end of that. I guess I'm just gonna focus on rebuilding myself and get my life back on track. And concentrating on me but that's done."
Katie's representatives declined to comment when contacted by Mirror Online.
