James Corden fulfilled his promise of going out with a bang at his epic Late Late Show afterparty following his final ever show last night.
The English telly personality surrounded by famous faces and celebrity pals after he delivered his final show to his loyal legion of fans and viewers, who he has been entertaining Stateside for eight years.
The host celebrated the end of an era ahead of his move back to the UK with a wild leaving party, which saw him and his family joined by fellow Brits Harry Styles and Adele while drinking margaritas and dancing until 4am.
After getting emotional while he signed off the late-night TV show for the final time, the Gavin and Stacey writer wasted no time in getting his party hat on.
The 44-year-old, who has presented more than 1,200 episodes of the show, let loose with an afterparty to rival all afterparties as he prepared to move back to the UK.
His celebrations lasted all night with a double layered cake presented to James, covered in snaps from his time on the show.
Alcoholic beverages were available in abundance and James' 'very proud' sister Ange, 46, revealed the festivities went on until 4am - and plenty of margaritas were sipped on.
Ange, who watched James’ final show from the audience alongside their parents, shared snaps of her brother as he gave a speech by the DJ decks with party-goers standing with their phones in hand, filming the emotional moment.
Ange wrote the caption of the Instagram-posted picture that she was “very proud”.
Later in the night, Ange shared a selfie from the festivities, telling fans: “It's 4am. I've drunk margaritas and danced all night. This makes one happy Angie. Night. XO.”
Elsewhere, the show’s producer was snapped posing with Harry Styles as he joined the party.
The final episode of the programme with James at the helm went out with a bang as the star joined up with best pal Adele and also received a message from US President Joe Biden.
President Biden's video message said: "James, congratulations on an incredible run. 1200 shows in the eight years. But after a day spent working for me at the white house. I am surprised you lasted eight years!
"To you, Reggie, and the entire team, thank you for all the joy you've brought to homes across America.
"And a special thanks for never asking me to sing in the car. I can't sing worth a damn!"
James took on the role of presenting the show in 2015 and moved over to the Uk from the UK to take up the presenting gig.
