Inside Hollyoaks Sarah Jayne Dunn's home renovation as she spends OnlyFans cash

Sarah Jayne Dunn has been busy redecorating and refurbishing her eccentric home and sharing the progress with fans.

The former Hollyoaks star - who played Mandy Richardson - was fired from her role in the long-running soap for having an OnlyFans page.

She used the subscription-based website to sell saucy pictures of herself and had revealed it made her a whopping amount of cash.

The actress, 40, allegedly once earned £121,000 in 48 hours after revealing that soap acting doesn't always pay well.

And now, Sarah, 40, has been spending some of her hard-earned cash on doing up the home she shares with husband Jonathan Smith.

Sarah has a dedicated Instagram page, @dunntheplaceup, where she shares updates on her home.

Most recently, the star uploaded a carousel of pictures of her almost-finished living room.

"The living room is getting there!! Curtains still to go up and pictures and shelves to go on walls (finishing touches) but we are so nearly there (2 years later)," she captioned the post.

The lights were dimmed to a sensual pink as she took pictures of the TV above the modern fireplace. A mustard yellow arm chair sits in the corner of the space, facing away from the television.

She also filled up the space with a gigantic leaning mirror similar to those seen in lavish restaurants.

White leopard print wallpaper covered three-fourths of the room, while one wall was completed with a black pattern.

The process took around two years (Instagram/ @dunntheplaceup)

There were also a few statement lamps and lampshades to brighten up the space.

Earlier this year, she shared a snap of the white layered feather chandelier - which retails for almost £200 - installed in the dining room.

"New dining room light (finally after 2 years) and i’m obsessed," Sarah wrote.

In May 2021, Sarah gave fans a glimpse of the changes she made to the bedroom.

Her bedroom seems to follow a greener theme and has a huge double bed with a dark green bed frame. It is placed in front of a wall that is covered in an elephant patterned wallpaper.

"New bed from @arighibianchi Our old bed was way too big and traditional for our new room and this just fits perfectly and the colour match to our @emmajshipley wallpaper is perfect," she captioned the post.

She also tagged the companies she purchases the mattress, ottoman and radiator paint from.

"Now we need to upgrade our bedside lights, get something on the wall and get some big beautiful curtains for the windows. Getting there slowly but surely," she added.

Around a year ago, Sarah began selling her images on OnlyFans before Channel 4 caught wind of the act and sacked her.

The actress played the role of Mandy Richardson on the Cheshire-based soap for 25 years before the saga.

She said she opened her OnlyFans account to take ownership of her "images", "choices" and what you want to do with your body".

She amassed 11,000 followers in the first day following her sacking, which is predicted to have earned her almost £100,000.
