Inside Holly Willoughby's relaxed This Morning break as she teases secret project

Holly Willoughby is enjoying some time away from her presenting role on This Morning.

The telly star took a week off work to relax and spent some quality time with her husband Dan Baldwin and their three kids - Harry, Belle and Chester.

But Holly, 39, didn't remain silent on her social media as she updated her followers with her daily activities over the weekend - including teasing new work plans.

On Sunday, she took to her Instagram to show off her brand new spiritual morning routine as she admitted to using white sage to cleanse out negativity.

"Morning rituals..." the former Celebrity Juice panelist wrote. "#whitesage for purification not inhalation before you ask!"

Earlier in the week, Holly shared a snap of herself had at work on her laptop with a cryptic caption.

She wrote: "Plotting and planning."

Holly was cosied up in her home office as she hinted at future plans for a secret project.

During her time off, she's also enjoyed cuddling up with her cat after sharing snaps on her social media page.

It's no doubt the doting mum has also been spending time with her three children.

The telly star's busy work schedule often has her suffering from mum guilt.

Holly previously told Red magazine : "Becoming a mum was the only thing I knew I definitely wanted when I was growing up, but the image I had never involved me being a working mum and that’s been the biggest challenge.

"I’ve been riddled with guilt about getting that part wrong. You love them so much and you don’t want to mess them up."

She added: "The truth is, I didn’t do the drop-off on Harry’s or Belle’s first day of school because I was working. I hate that I wasn’t there because those are memories you can’t get back."

Her close bond and friendship with Phil extends beyond them appearing on This Morning together.

It comes as her This Morning co-star Phillip credited Holly for being supportive during a tough year.

Phil revealed Holly had been there for him throughout the lockdown and when he come out as gay earlier this year.

He told Chris Moyles on Radio X: "When the wheels fell off the world and we all went into lockdown, Holly and I were doing our own make-up in the This Morning studio on our own looking at each other, thinking 'What the hell is going on?'

"It was like a therapy session all the way through.

"We knew that we were going up the stairs to do the show and people saying 'Oh thank God you’re still on, thank God you’re still on, just a little bit of normality.'"
