Ahead of the shows, fans may be curious about the Friends in Low Places hitmaker’s personal life.
Despite being one of the biggest names in the music world, not much is known about the 60-year-old's private life. There have, however, been some nuggets of information that have dropped over the years.
Divorce and remarriage to famous singer
Garth married songwriter Sandy Mahl on May 24, 1986 and the pair went on to have three daughters.
There was heartbreak for the couple who separated 13 years later in 1999 and announced their plans to divorce in October 2000. It became final on December 17, 2001.
Garth remarried four years later to fellow country music superstar Trisha Yearwood.
He surprised her with a public proposal on stage at Buck Owens' Crystal Palace in Bakersfield.
Their wedding took place on December 10, 2005 at their home in Owasso, Oklahoma.
Gorgeous daughters
Garth has three daughters from his first marriage - Taylor Mayne Pearl (born 1992), August Anna (born 1994) and Allie Colleen Brooks (born 1996).
The trio are all grown up and chasing their own dreams.
Allie Colleen Brooks Roberts (26-years-old) is so far the only daughter to follow in her father’s footsteps. The rising country music singer-songwriter married Jonathan Roberts, a Tennessee-based physical education teacher, in November 2018. Her debut full-length album, Stones, was released in April 2021.
August Anna Brooks Russell (28-years-old) made her parents grandparents when she was just 19, giving birth to daughter Karalynn with her then-boyfriend Chance Michael Russell in July 2013. The pair later married and welcomed another daughter, Gwendolyn in December 2016. Prior to becoming a mum, August worked at a law firm.
Taylor Mayne Pearl Brooks (30-years-old), Garth’s oldest daughter, is extremely private. She studied history at Oklahoma State University and graduated in 2016. She later graduated with a post-graduate degree in Theology from Vanderbilt University in Nashville in May 2020.
Astonishing net worth

Irish heritage
Garth’s mother Colleen McElroy Carroll (1929–1999) was a 1950s-era country singer of Irish ancestry.
He released a song called Ireland in 1995 in an ode to his heritage.
Sporting talent
As a child, Brooks often sang in casual family settings, but his primary focus was athletics.
In high school, he played football and baseball and ran track and field.
He received a track scholarship to Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, where he competed in the javelin throw.
Gay rights support
In a 1999 interview with George, Garth said: "But if you're in love, you've got to follow your heart and trust that God will explain to us why we sometimes fall in love with people of the same sex."
Lyrics to his song ‘We Shall Be Free’ features the line: "When we're free to love anyone we choose," which has been interpreted as a reference to same-sex relationships. He won a 1993 GLAAD Media Award for the song.
His half-sister, Betsy Smittle, who died in 2013, was a well-known musician. She was a lesbian and Garth has credited her with some of the inspiration for his support for same-sex marriage.
