Edinburgh locals flocked to the opening of Gordon Ramsay's Street Pizza on Henderson Row on Monday afternoon.
Street Pizza opened its doors to punters today with a soft launch, offering the first 250 lucky customers a free pizza.
The sourdough pizza is available by the slice, with the eatery open seven days a week for bottomless pizzas, refreshing beers and wines.

Street Pizza were offering those in line a lucky dip choice. Letting seven people in at a time, they could choose any box, with either a whole pepperoni, margherita, or aubergine pizza inside. The pizzas were available to takeaway or to enjoy at the counter style seating.
Julie, one of the lucky customers in the queue said she had been queuing for about 30 minutes and was grabbing one for her and her husband. Ellie, one of the managers, said: “We’ve been in for a couple of weeks, testing and tasting. I’ve eaten so much pizza that I don’t think I could look at it ever again, But yeah, it’s been going really well.
“As of tomorrow we are open 5pm-11pm Mon – Friday and then 12pm-11pm Saturday and Sunday.”
When asked whether the infamous Gordon Ramsay would be appearing at today’s launch, she said: “Gordon hasn’t been down yet, but he will be down soon. He usually pops up when you least expect it, he will definitely be in Edinburgh soon as we have another place opening.”
Street Pizza is open now at 9-11 Henderson Row. Street Burger will be opening sometime soon in St James Quarter.
