Coronation Street's Faye Brookes says she's got "no cold feet" ahead of her summer wedding.
The Dancing On Ice star, 35, got engaged to theatre director Iwan Lewis in January after just three months of dating.
The couple have known each other for 15 years, but decided to get hitched quickly and say they're not bothered by any negative comments over their plans.
Faye, who played Kate Connor on the cobbles, said: “We’ve waited long enough. “I could have said this phrase in the past, ‘When you know, you know.’ But I’ve never truly understood what that really means until now. There’s no doubt, no worries, no cold feet."
Iwan added: “I don’t care what people think about anything, but the reality is when I look into the eyes of my nearest and dearest, they get it," reports OK! magazine.
The pair's nearest and dearest have been secretly hoping Iwan would propose to Faye and he did so traditionally by asking the actress' father for permission.
Faye said her dad 'really trusts' her fiance and was delighted when he popped the question.
The lovebirds have already booked the church in the Cotswolds and will be waltzing down the aisle in the summer.
There will be a marquee, bands, and a string quartet, with Faye saying they'd "got the lot sorted".
Speaking about the need to be organised, the actress explained she'll be on tour with Strictly Ballroom The Musical for three months before getting into full wedding prep.
The couple are also keen to start a family of their own once their star-studded nuptials are of the way.
Faye said: “I know I want to be a mum and I think I’ve been waiting for my missing puzzle piece and it all fits."
Iwan added: “Even though it’s not something we’re rushing into – the wedding is the priority – I love the thought of a couple of little ones running around here with the dogs.”
Faye left Coronation Street in 2019 after four years of playing unlucky-in-love Kate.
Fans often ask her if she'd ever return to the cobbles - but she's got no plans to rock up in Weatherfield just yet.
Speaking about the possibility, she said if she was to return it would "have to be a pretty big reason".
The actress was previously engaged to Pop Idol's Gareth Gates.
The couple were both starring in Legally Blonde The Musical when they met, but announced they'd split in August 2019.
