Cheryl was joined by Girls Aloud pals Kimberley Walsh, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts for her 40th birthday celebrations this week, as the Geordie star reached the milestone age in the company of family and friends at a stunning Suffolk estate.
And, as well as hiring a plush property for a few days, Cheryl also took the festivities outside, with guests tucking into food in picturesque woodland surroundings, after being welcomed with glasses of champagne. Cheryl has posted snapshots from her 40th on her Instagram story, giving her many fans a look at how she marked the occasion.
Among the clips Cheryl shared included one a huge tepee, which was home to a luxuriously decorated dinner table, where her guests sat down for dinner. The Fight for This Love singer also posted a video of steaks being cooked on a barbecue and of huge 4-0 balloons put up in her honour.
Cheryl's home for the weekend was the Wilderness Reserve in Saxmundham. The estate is a collection of stunning properties, with 14 different homes to choose from, comprising from ones with a single bedroom to larger ones with eight and over. Prices at the estate start from £561 a night for its smallest cottage to £10,4609 for the stunning Chapel Barn, with a number of the properties coming with their own heated swimming pool.
Like Cheryl, Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley also posted photos of the celebrations on her Instagram, as she and husband Justin Scott and the couple's children joined the party. Next to a selection of pictures, Kimberley wrote: "The most gorgeous few days celebrating this one! Thankful for the 20 years of friendship. Love you @cherylofficial Here’s to the next chapter." Among the many people to comment was fellow Girls Aloud star Nadine, who responded: "Content queen!!! These look great!!!"
