Inside Center Parcs' new luxury treehouses with outdoor hot tubs and games rooms

Center Parcs has pulled out all the stops with new luxurious treehouse accommodation at its Whinfell Forest village in Cumbria.

We're talking very inviting features such as outdoor hot tubs, saunas, games dens and private balconies nestled amidst the treetops.

The quirky stays, which cost £4million to build, are nestled high amongst the treetops, and offer some brilliant views towards the Lake District’s Eastern Fells, a UNESCO world heritage site.

There's heaps of opportunity to make the most of the great outdoors thanks to the private balconies, outdoor hot tubs and barbecues.

Inside, expect a rustic chic feel including a spacious open plan living room and kitchen, a sauna, and four en-suite bedrooms.

Oh, and there's even a games den complete with pool tables and TVs to keep kids of all ages (and grown-ups too) entertained on those days where the British weather might let you down.

There are four treehouses in total, with one adapted for those with limited mobility.

The treehouses are already available to book on the Center Parcs website.

Prices start from £2,299 for four-night stays, and that's based on a mid-week break (Monday to Friday).

The accommodation can sleep up to eight people, so that's approximately £71pp a night.

Of course with the current government guidelines, you'll need to be no more than six people - in this case, prices work out at approximately £95pp a night.

(This is based on accommodation only - all activities are booked as extras).

Glen Franklin, Village Director at Whinfell Forest said: "After a challenging few months I’m thrilled that our Treehouses are completed and ready to open to guests. They are looking spectacular and everyone at Whinfell Forest is so excited to finally have them.

"I can’t think of many better places than Cumbria to relax in a hot tub high amongst the trees and enjoy the beautiful views of our natural forest."
