Photographs inside a creepy morgue that's been left abandoned showcased its eerie remains.
Macorlee Farnaby, 26, from Suffolk, made the spine-chilling discovery of an abandoned morgue just outside Hull that still retained the eeriness of the dead who were there.
The pictures showed the decaying morgue with items including an empty morgue table, hanging apron, gloves, body salt, an old tin of air freshener, oxide plaster tape, a bucket, and blood washbasin, among other morbid equipment.
Macorlee, also a support worker, used his skills and passion to uncover the untouched abandoned building.
He made his way through overgrown fields and hedged areas to reach the morgue, which had a door that refused to budge - even on multiple attempts.
He finally discovered an open gap where a window had been taken out.
The explorer was able to fit in the gap and enter the morgue, which surprised him with a cold welcome.
"I was hit by the smell of death," said Macorlee.
"It felt like we were not there alone, but were being watched by someone."
Macorlee said the place was filthy with bird poo, and - surprisingly - still has some medical equipment from when it was still in use.
He said: "There was bird poop everywhere.
"The apron was still hung, the gloves and cleaning brush almost ready to be used.
"It felt like being in a horror movie."
Marcorlee said the place has an eerie feel, almost as if he was being watched by someone else.
He said: "There was a feeling of someone else being present in that place.
"It could have been a speck of dust or someone from beyond the grave."
Despite the creepy feel, Macorlee still felt the place had some beauty left.
He added: "But there was still some beauty to the place- an old and rustic vibe.
"The place had not been vandalised and there was a natural decay everywhere."
