An inquest has opened into the death of a man found hanged on a golf course in Tameside.
Kevin Shuttleworth, 36, was found unresponsive at Dukinfield Golf Club on July 20. Coroner Adrian Farrow opened an inquest into the death of Mr Shuttleworth, who worked as a roofer, at Manchester South Coroner's Court today (Thursday).
The coroner revealed that a post-mortem examination had given Mr Shuttleworth's provisional cause of death as 'hanging'.

Police coroner's officer Simon Toft told the brief hearing that Mr Shuttleworth 'had previously indicated suicidal tendencies due to financial issues'.
He said a dog walker had found Mr Shuttleworth's body and that a 'note of intent' had also been discovered at the scene.
Mr Farrow adjourned the hearing until January 26 of next year when a full inquest is due to take place.
