There was tremendous competition in the evolving Creative Tech category for the InnovationAus 2023 Awards for Excellence, with three distinctly different companies emerging as finalists – Lumi Media, Voltin and Femtek ‘Creative’.
The Creative Tech award celebrates the rapidly growing Australian tech sector — where the latest advances in technology collide with the arts, design, media, entertainment, music, games and education.
This hotly contested category acknowledges the achievements of those at the forefront of Australia’s expertise in these combined fields — and highlight the ground-breaking innovations that shape this ecosphere.
The finalists in the Creative Category are:
Lumi Media was established by TV and entertainment producers in 2016 with the overriding aim of streamlining editorial teams in the interests of production excellence. The software as a service platform is scalable enterprise system, and used by TV and radio production companies all over the world.
Voltin was founded with the sole purpose of building safer cities (10,000 so far and counting), The company has developed an innovative facade assessment system capable of high-resolution visual data capture for high-rise buildings in dense population areas.
Femtek is the Australian-designed and -owned basal body ring, better known as a women’s smart ring. It is a world first in providing accurate data, customised suggestions and meaningful insights into menstrual health on a daily basis.
Now in its third year, the InnovationAus 2023 Awards for Excellence are proudly supported by Australian Computer Society, Technology Council of Australia, Investment NSW, Agile Digital, CSIRO, TechnologyOne, IP Australia, METS Ignited and Q-CTRL.
