Motherwell & Wishaw Inner Wheel celebrated its 75th birthday at the Bentley Hotel in Motherwell.
It was a very special night for the club with one of its long serving members, Jean McMillan from Wishaw, cutting the birthday cake.
The club and visitors enjoyed a lovely two course dinner and were then entertained by local magician Billy Gibson. The vote of thanks was given by Dorothy Arthur, a past president of the club.
President, Margaret Keeper, said it was a testament to the sense of community and service within the club that they were now amongst the longest running in Great Britain.
Over its 75 years the club has supported hundreds of local charities as well as supporting international projects, and still continue to do so.
