The Seahawks and Eagles are on tap for tonight’s Monday night game on ESPN. While Philadelphia is the favorite on paper and has the better team, there’s a ton of uncertainty on both sides. For one thing, we don’t know who will be starting at quarterback for either team. Geno Smith is listed as questionable with his elbow and groin injuries. Meanwhile, Eagles QB Jalen Hurts has also been listed as questionable after an illness popped up over the weekend and reportedly got worse yesterday.
According to Ian Rapoport at NFL Network, the latest on these two is that it seems Smith is a long shot, while Hurts will probably play.
On Geno Smith: “Has to improve a lot from now until game time, considered a bit of a long shot” to play.
On Jalen Hurts: “Most players who deal with something like this do end up playing.”

If Smith sits out then Drew Lock will start for Seattle. Last week against the 49ers he went 22/31 for 269 yards and two touchdowns, but he also threw two interceptions. For the season he has three picks and a 37.9 QBR. The loss put Lock at 8-14 as a starter at this level.
If Hurts winds up sitting, then Marcus Mariota will get the start for Philly. Mariota also saw action a couple weeks ago against the Niners, but he only attempted three passes. For his career Mariota is 34-40 as a starter.
