Injury Report: Warriors’ Steph Curry (shoulder) to be re-evaluated in two weeks

During the second game of the Golden State Warriors’ recent six-game road swing, Steph Curry was putting together a red-hot 38-point effort against the Indiana Pacers. However, the reigning NBA Finals MVP’s performance was cut short after Curry appeared to suffer an injury.

After missing the remainder of the game, the Warriors announced Curry had suffered a subluxation of his left shoulder. The eight-time All-Star has since missed four games due to the injury. The Warriors are 1-3 with Curry out during that span.

On Saturday, the Warriors provided an update regarding Curry’s injury. The Warriors announced Curry is making “good progress” with his injury and will be re-evaluated again in two weeks.

With Curry set to be re-evaluated in two weeks, the guard will likely miss at least six more games, including Sunday’s primetime playoff rematch against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Without Curry, the Warriors have leaned on players like Jordan Poole and Donte DiVincenzo in the backcourt alongside Klay Thompson. While Curry is set to miss more time, the Warriors could be getting with the return of Andrew Wiggins growing closer.

After missing nine games due to an adductor injury, Wiggins is listed as questionable for Golden State’s contest against Memphis on Christmas.

The Warriors will host the Grizzlies in San Francisco on Sunday at 5 p.m. PT.
