Injury Report: Warriors’ Steph Curry (shoulder) listed as probable for Tuesday’s game vs. Suns

After getting back both Andrew Wiggins and Andre Iguodala on Saturday against the Orlando Magic, the Golden State Warriors could be getting more reinforcements soon.

After missing 11 games with a shoulder subluxation injury, Steph Curry is officially listed as probable for the Warriors’ contest on Tuesday against the Phoenix Suns. Initial reports indicated the Warriors were targeting Jan. 13th’s game against the San Antonio Spurs as a potential return date for the reigning NBA Finals Most Valuable Player.

During Curry’s absence, the Warriors have posted a 6-5 record that included a five game winning streak at San Francisco’s Chase Center. Even if Curry’s cleared to return to the starting lineup, the Warriors will likely be cautious with the eight-time All-Star guard.

Prior to leaving his last game against the Indiana Pacers, Curry tallied a game-high 38 points on 11-of-19 shooting from the field with five made triples to go along with seven assists and seven boards.

During the 2022-23 season, Curry is averaging 30 points on 50% shooting from the field and 43.4% from beyond the arc with 6.8 assists and 6.6 rebounds in 34.4 minutes per game.

The Warriors are slated to host the Suns on Tuesday night in San Francisco at 7 p.m. PT.
