Injury Report: Warriors’ Jonathan Kuminga (non-COVID illness) out vs. Suns

Prior to tipoff against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, the Golden State Warriors received a late scratch in their rotation.

According to C.J. Holmes of the San Francisco Chronicle, Jonathan Kuminga has been ruled out against the Suns on Wednesday due to a non-COVID related illness. Kuminga will join Andre Iguodala and Patrick Baldwin Jr. on the injury report for Wednesday night.

Without Kuminga available off the bench, the Warriors will have to lean on Anthony Lamb and JaMychal Green in the second unit behind Draymond Green and Kevon Looney against the Suns.

Kuminga has had an up-and-down start to his sophomore campaign, averaging 5.2 points on 42.6% shooting from the field with 1.8 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 14.1 minutes per game.

The Warriors are slated to meet the Suns at 7 p.m. PT in Phoenix on Wednesday. Click here for more information about the game, including how to watch.
