Injury Report: Warriors’ Draymond Green (knee) upgraded to probable vs. Blazers on Tuesday

After playing two games without three All-Star caliber players, the Golden State Warriors could be getting some much-needed reinforcements on Tuesday night against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Following a two-game absence due to a knee contusion, Draymond Green has been upgraded to probable for Tuesday’s contest at San Francisco’s Chase Center.

Green was ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves after his knee flared up according to Steve Kerr. Green underwent an MRI that later came back clean.

Despite Green’s return, the Warriors will still be without starters Steph Curry (lower leg) and Andrew Wiggins (personal reasons) for Tuesday’s contest against Portland.

With Green’s expected return, Jonathan Kuminga will likely shift back to a role off the bench. Green will likely re-join the starting lineup alongside Jordan Poole, Klay Thompson, Donte DiVincenzo and Kevon Looney.

During the 2022-23 season, Green is averaging 8.1 points on 51.7% shooting from the field with 7.4 rebounds and 6.8 assists in 31.5 minutes per game.
