Green missed Golden State’s loss to the Dallas Mavericks in Texas on Wednesday of last week due to lower back soreness. However, Green returned for the Warriors’ previous two games against the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks.
On Monday against the Knicks, Green played 31 minutes, recording two points, eight rebounds and five assists in the Warriors’ 119-112 loss.
If Green is unavailable, the Warriors could insert rookie Trayce Jackson-Davis into the starting lineup in the frontcourt. Jackson-Davis is coming off another impressive performance, tallying 19 points on a perfect 9-of-9 shooting from the field in 26 minutes off the bench against the Knicks.
The Warriors are set to meet the Grizzlies on Wednesday at 7 p.m. PT in San Francisco.
