Newcastle United supporters are frustrated after their side was held 1-1 by another relegation-threatened side. Miguel Almiron's first-half equaliser was as good as the evening got for the Magpies, with Bournemouth good value for their point.
Similarly to West Ham United last weekend, Newcastle were thwarted by a team fighting to stay in the Premier League. Results earlier in the day benefitted United, with Tottenham Hotspur suffering a 4-1 hammering at Leicester City.
Chelsea, too, showed no signs of a second-half-of-the-season resurgence as they drew 1-1 at West Ham. Several injury concerns also compiled more frustration on Newcastle, who already have a depleted squad.

Joe Willock was forced off early on while holding his hamstring, an ominous sign as Newcastle had no fit midfielders on the bench. Allan Saint-Maximin - arguably the Magpies' best player - also left the field limping in the dying embers.
On a positive note, the result extended Newcastle's cushion in the top-four race to two points, with a game in hand over fifth-placed Spurs. This is how supporters reacted to the draw at the full-time whistle.
