Patricio Freire is eager for quick turnaround after falling short in his UFC debut.
Freire (36-7 MMA, 0-0 UFC) lost a unanimous decision to Yair Rodriguez on Saturday’s UFC 314 main card at Kaseya Center. Despite getting dropped late, the former Bellator dual-champion says he came out unscathed and is targeting another big pay-per-view event for his return.
“Congratulations to @panteraufc, we’ll see each other again. I’m injury free and ready to go at any time @ufc. Thank you to all the fans, I’ll make you all proud, you can count on that. #UFC314.”

“Thank you @ufc for everything. I felt very welcomed, great treatment from all the staff towards me, my team and my family. I heard International Fight Week is amazing and the card is still open, I’ve got a few names in mind. Who would you guys like to see me fight next? #UFC314.”

“Pitbull” has now lost three of his past four fights. The 37-year-old parted ways with PFL as Bellator featherweight champion after retaining his belt with a TKO of Jeremy Kennedy in March 2024.
