The Cleveland Browns have suffered what looks to be a serious injury on the opening kickoff as return specialist Jakeem Grant Sr. was carted off the field. Grant Sr. did not play for the Browns a year ago after popping his Achilles in training camp a year ago and had been rumored to have a good chance to make the roster.
Grant Sr. has been ruled out for the game with a knee injury.

As this is the last year of Grant’s contract, look for the Browns to waive him with an injury designation.
