A 12-year-old boy has sustained "serious injuries" after falling from a building in Sunderland.
Emergency services, including the Great North Air Ambulance helicopter, were called to an incident near Vine Place on Saturday afternoon after reports a boy had sustained injuries after falling from a building.
Ambulances, the fire brigade and an Incident Support Unit van were seen on nearby Green Terrace in the alley by the Closet Club at around 2.30pm. One boy has since been flown to Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary by helicopter for treatment.

A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “At about 3pm today (Saturday) officers received a report of concern for the welfare of a boy in the Vine Place area of Sunderland. It was reported that a 12-year-old boy had fallen off a building, suffering serious injuries.
“The boy was subsequently taken to hospital where he remains. His family are aware.”
The North East Ambulance Service arrived on scene at around 2.30pm and dispatched two ambulance crews, two crews from the Hazardous Area Response Team and a clinical team leader.
Support from the Great North Air Ambulance was also requested and the boy was flown to the RVI.
