Manchester City defensive pair John Stones and Kyle Walker are both doubts for Saturday's visit of Tottenham.
Both Stones and Walker have been left at home as City travel to face Sevilla in their opening Champions League group game.
Pep Guardiola has used the duo regularly in City's unbeaten start to the season but will have to do without them both in Spain and likely for the visit of fellow unbeaten rivals Spurs.
Stones is in a race to be fit to face Antonio Conte's side, though former Spurs player Walker could be sidelined for the remainder of the month.
Talking to reporters on Monday, Guardiola said: "(They are) injured.
"John is not much. Kyle is not much too, but I don't know if he will be ready for Saturday, or Dortmund or Wolves before the international break."
City face Sevilla on Tuesday evening while Spurs host Marseille on Wednesday.
