Influencer Queen Bee 'racially abused' police officer and filmed arrest on social media

A TikTok star has been found to have 'racially abused' a police officer after being pulled over for drinking in her car. Priya Sahi - known as Queen Bee filmed and uploaded her arrest to her social media following of over 100,000 users.

She was arrested by police after allegedly being found drunk at the wheel of her Audi in an Asda car park, and said to be surrounded by bottles of booze. She told one of the officers to 'learn English’ while in custody, reports the Manchester Evening News.

The 29-year-old, who was found guilty at Swindon Magistrates’ Court for a racially-aggravated Public Order Act charge, told police she was permitted to sit in her stationary car and consume alcohol.

The court heard she was found intoxicated resulting in an arrest being made for being in drunk charge of a motor vehicle on October 25, 2022.

She shouted at the arresting officers: “I’ve got no keys in my ignition, no keys in my ignition. I’m allowed to park up and drink. I’m not driving, so what are you arresting me for?”

An officer pointed out the bottles to his colleague as Sahi told police: “I want my TikTok running” before the live stream ended. She reportedly told PC Marcin Kozak, Wiltshire Police's first-ever Polish community support officer, that she couldn't understand him.

In custody, she went on to state: “Learn English you European whatever you are”. As a result, she was further arrested for a public order offence.

Prosecutor Keith Ballinger said the Sahi has a previous conviction for racially-aggravated assault from 2015. In a victim personal statement, PC Kozak admits “did not even feel human at this point" as she continuously insulted him.

He added: “I’m a serving officer and Polish national. It took hard work and courage to become a police officer, I had to prove I speak good enough English and pass tests; I work to exactly the same criteria as my British colleagues.

“Almost every day I’m subject to some sort of derogatory comment.”

Sahi appeared in court the following day after being remanded in custody. In separate incident, she had been arrested on suspicion of drink driving. She later admitted the charge. As a result, she is currently serving two concurrent driving disqualifications and has accrued fines in the regions of hundreds of pounds.

Defence solicitor Sandeep Kaushal said his client offers an apology to PC Kozak. He told the bench that Sahi was going through a “traumatic time” and was in a “frustrated state” while live on the social media app as officers surrounded her car.

She was said to have “spiralled completely out of control”, according to Mr Kaushal. She is a single mother, the court heard, to a three-year-old and is on medication for post-natal depression and anxiety.

The magistrates imposed a fine of £80. She must also pay £85 costs and a £32 surcharge, due to her limited means.
