"Gourmet Super Super" has brought a variety of exclusive produce and food from around the world to selected branches of Gourmet Market and Gourmet Eats, until Nov 17.
Held under "The Wonder Of Food" concept, the food festival offers a delicious dining experience of the highest standards only at Emporium, EmQuartier, Paragon, The Mall Thapra and The Mall Ngamwongwan. The foods and products are divided into four "Super" categories.
Coming with their enormous portions, the "Super Size" items selected for the festival include Australian rock lobsters weighing 10kg each; red king crabs weighing around 8kg each from Japan; painted spiny lobsters weighing 3.5kg each from Thailand's Andaman Sea; Korean pears and Densuke watermelon from Japan.
There is also giant sushi 10cm in diameter and giant tom yum seafood ramen from You Hunt We Cook, and many other super-sized dishes at Gourmet Eats.
The "Super Rare" items include Red Shine Muscat grapes from Japan, moonfish from New Zealand, goose barnacles from Spain, Wild Alaskan Ivory King Salmon from the US, Yagara cornet fish from Japan, Giaveri Golden sterlet caviar from Italy, and Shanghai hairy crabs from China. Exclusive dishes being served at Gourmet Eats include Kuro Kakuni from Ippudo, and Little Premium To Go Milo pancakes from Gram Cafe & Pancakes (only at Paragon).
Among the "Super Gourmand" products guaranteed with awards and stars are Loch Ryne Rock Oysters, fresh Loch Duart Salmon, Roaring Forties Lamb, Miyazaki Wagyu, Kaltbach Le Gruyère AOP cheese from Switzerland, Iberico ham from Spain, and Morelli Linguine pasta from Italy. Then, expect to indulge in famous street foods that get Michelin recommendations at Gourmet Eats.
The festival also gathers sumptuous and delightful foods from renowned restaurants under the "Super Star" category. They include macaron from Souri, croissants from Jame Boulangerie, Hokkaido cream puff buns from Little C Fever, cocoa drinks from Cocoa Ai Ton, and special dishes from Napha Chefs.
Also, prepare to join the "Chef's Table" activity during which renowned chefs and famous restaurants take turns presenting their special dishes.
