Indianapolis Colts vs. Bills recent matchup history

The Indianapolis Colts will take on the Buffalo Bills in Week 10, making this the first time that the teams have met since 2021.

This will also be the first time that Buffalo has traveled to Indianapolis since the 2018 season.

This year specifically, the Colts will enter this game on a two-game losing streak with the offense sputtering and the team in the midst of navigating the landscape following the benching of Anthony Richardson.

Buffalo, meanwhile, is a top team, not only in the AFC but in the NFL, at 7-2 on the season, which includes riding a four-game winning streak coming into this game.

With the Colts’ coming off of statistically their worst offensive performance of the season, getting back on track will begin with Jonathan Taylor’s success on the ground, which can help open up some passing game opportunities.

And while the Indianapolis defense is playing some of its best football right now, they’ll face the difficult task of having to contain the high-scoring Buffalo offense led by Josh Allen.

Of course, past results between these two teams have no bearing whatsoever on Sunday’s outcome. But let’s take brief lookback at the matchup history between these two organizations.

Nov. 21, 2021: Colts 41, Bills 15
Jan. 9, 2021: Colts 24, Bills 27
Oct. 21, 2018: Bills 5, Colts 37
Dec. 10, 2017 (OT): Colts 7, Bills 13
Sept. 13, 2015: Colts 14, Bills 27

The Bills lead the all-time series between these two teams with a record of 38-33-1.
