On Friday in college football, Michigan State is traveling west for a matchup with No. 6 Oregon. In attendance will be at least one member from the Indianapolis Colts’ scouting department.
According to Ryan Fowler of Bleacher Report, the Colts are one of several teams who will have a scout at this game. Other teams include the Eagles, Broncos, Packers, Bills, Jets, and others.
Throughout the college football season, this is a common occurrence for the Colts and every NFL team as part of the scouting process. In fact, I would guess that this won’t be the only game that the Colts will have representatives at this weekend.
With help from Pro Football Focus’ current 2025 big board, here are some of the top upcoming draft-eligible prospects playing in this game–and they all happen to be from Oregon:
WR Evan Stewart
OT Josh Conerly
OT Ajani Cornelius
CB Jabbar Muhammad
TE Terrance Ferguson
QB Dillon Gabriel
WR Tez Johnson
RB Jordan James
Of course, the caveat right now is that a lot will change between now and the actual draft, whether that be teams needs for the Colts along with where players fall on the big board.
However, in this moment, some potential positions of need could include cornerback, safety, tight end, running back, and defensive tackle depth.
