Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson a full participant at practice

On the Indianapolis Colts Thursday injury report, quarterback Anthony Richardson was listed as a full participant for the first time since suffering the oblique injury.

The injury occurred in the first half of the Colts’ eventual Week 4 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Richardson has practiced every day since then, but in a limited capacity up until today and did not play against Jacksonville.

This is an obvious good sign about Richardson’s availability for Sunday’s game.

When speaking with reporters on Wednesday, being 100 percent was not going to be a part of the decision-making process when it came to whether or not he suited up. But rather, it was about how Richardson felt and if he could go on the field and being himself.

“Just making sure I can do what I do on the field,” Richardson said. “Making sure I’m putting myself in the best position, putting the team in the best position. Try not to force anything. Try not to rush anything. If I’m not 100 percent, I’m not 100 percent, but it is what it is. I’m going to try to be the best version of myself.”

This week the Colts’ offense will be facing a stringy Tennessee Titans defense that is physical, willing to blitz, and ranks top 10 in both yards per rush allowed and yards per pass play allowed.
