After missing Wednesday’s practice with a knee injury, Indianapolis Colts’ right tackle Braden Smith was back on the field on Wednesday.

As of now, we will have to wait until today’s official injury report comes out to know whether or not he was a full or limited participant.
Smith has been in and out of practice for nearly two weeks now with a knee injury. He first missed the Friday practice before the team’s Week 3 matchup against the Chicago Bears. He then practiced last Thursday, but missed Wednesday and Friday of that week prior to the Pittsburgh game.
However, Smith has not missed any games or any snaps during that span. If anything, these days off seem like maintenance more than anything after missing time last season with a knee injury and having offseason knee surgery.
At this time, we do know the specifics of the injury that is keeping Smith out of practice.
When on the field, along with the rest of the Colts’ offensive line, Smith is playing at a high level. Over the last three games, in particular, Smith has allowed only two pressures and one sack, which includes matching up with the Steelers’ TJ Watt this past Sunday.
Out of 82 eligible tackles, Smith ranks 22nd in PFF’s run-blocking grade as well.
