An Indiana man made a shocking discovery outside his home while retrieving a delivery—two infant girls abandoned in a ditch.
The infants, aged 4 and 5 months, were dumped in their carseats outside in freezing temperatures after the vehicle they were in, a silver Hyundai Sonata, was stolen earlier that day.
IMPD is seeking the community's help in locating the following vehicle that was stolen with a 4-month-old and 5-month-old child in the back.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department issued an urgent public appeal to locate the missing girls, which resulted in a swift response, WTHR reported. Within roughly 20 minutes, the good Samaritan found the babies near his home, brought them inside, and called 911.
The infants were confirmed as the missing girls, and police later located the stolen vehicle near the ditch where the children were left.
"It's cold out here, who knows what would have happened if this particular individual hadn't gone outside," Officer William Young told WTHR, praising the man's actions.
Authorities continue to search for a suspect in the case.
