At the Indian National Congress party's headquarters in Delhi, the atmosphere is filled with optimism as the nationwide vote count continues. While early results indicate the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading, the Congress party is also making significant strides in various constituencies, surpassing expectations set by exit polls.

The headquarters is abuzz with excitement as children and supporters gather under a white tent to witness the live announcement of preliminary results. Cheers erupt each time the opposition gains ground, accompanied by the triumphant sound of trumpets. Party workers proudly display shirts emblazoned with the slogan: 'Until we get the right of justice.'

One dedicated Congress supporter, Lakshman Valhekar, traveled all the way from Maharashtra on India's west coast to be present at the headquarters in Delhi. Expressing unwavering confidence in party leader Rahul Gandhi, Valhekar stated, 'Rahul Gandhi will come, Congress will win, there’s no doubt. He is the only hope our country has. I believe in them completely, the BJP is done, BJP is out.'

Valhekar's commitment to the cause was further demonstrated by his participation in the Bharat Jodo Yatra (Unite India March), where he walked over 3,000 kilometers across India in support of Gandhi. The yatra, which has garnered significant attention and media coverage, symbolizes the unity and determination of Congress supporters across the nation.
