NEW DELHI: India on Saturday reported 50,407 fresh Covid cases and 804 deaths. With this rise in cases, the country's active caseload has reached 6,10,443. The active caseload accounts for 1.43 per cent of the total cases.
The death toll has reached 507981. With 1,36,962 recoveries reported in the last 24 hours, the recovery rate has reached 97.37 per cent. The total number of patients who have recovered from the Covid infection is 4,14,68,120.
The daily positivity rate stands at 3.48 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate is 5.07 per cent.
So far India has conducted 74.93 crore Covid tests, of which 14.50 lakh tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
Total 172.29 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far under nationwide vaccination drive.
