NEW DELHI: India on Tuesday reported 1,675 fresh Covid cases and 31 deaths. This takes the total deaths to 52,44,90.
With a total of 14,841 active Covid cases, the share of active cases in the country is currently 0.03 per cent. A total of 1,635 patients recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours, which brings the recovery rate to 98.75 per cent. The total number of recoveries recorded in India stands at 4,26,00,737.
The daily positivity rate stands at 0.41 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate is 0.49 per cent.
India has conducted 84.74 crore Covid tests so far, of which 4,07,626 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. The country administered 192.52 crore vaccine doses under the nationwide vaccination drive.
