India Islamic Cultural Centre Vice-President, SM Khan condemns Ramesh Bidhuri for controversial remarks; Extends full support to Danish Ali

SM Khan, Vice-President of India Islamic Cultural Centre

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ramesh Bidhuri’s objectionable remarks against Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MP Danish Ali on the floor of the Lok Sabha has triggered anger among the Opposition Parties and many other sections of society. The Congress has called for Bidhuri's suspension from the Lok Sabha.

Meanwhile, SM Khan, Vice-President of India Islamic Cultural Centre (IICC) has also strongly condemned this ugly conduct of Ramesh Bidhuri. He said that all the IICC members denounce Ramesh Bidhuri and are in full support of Danish Ali.

According to Dynamite News correspondent, SM Khan, a former IIS officer who has held many prominent positions, said that the conduct of Ramesh Bidhuri is condemnable and contrary to all the established norms of parliamentary ethics. The statement of the BJP MP is also against the efforts by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to keep the country and the people united.

Khan said that strict action should be taken against Ramesh Bidhuri and the matter should be referred to the Parliamentary Privileges Committee by the Lok Sabha Speaker.

The former IIS officer said, "I met Danish Ali on Saturday and found him quite composed and full of confidence because people from all religions and communities are with him...I told him that all members of IICC are with him in his fight against Bidhuri."

This fight is not of Danish alone but of all the right thinking people of the country who support and favour the unity and integrity of the country, Khan added.
