ALL Under One Banner (AUOB) has said that around 500 people marched from Kyle of Lochalsh to the Isle of Skye in support of independence on Saturday.
The demonstration aimed to give rural and island communities the chance to show their support for a Scotland free of the Union.
It was the fourth in a series of six national demonstrations organised by AUOB this year.
Prior to the march, Yes Skye and Lochalsh co-ordinator Carole Inglis said: “It’s great to see AUOB reaching out to all corners of Scotland, giving rural and island communities the opportunity to show their support for Scottish independence.”
The route took those marching from the Kyle of Lochalsh leisure centre and across the Skye Bridge before ending in front of the Kings Arms Hotel.
In a post on social media, AUOB said: “We are proud to announce that c. 500 Scottish self-determination supporters marched for independence from Kyle of Lochalsh to the Isle of Skye, with many coming from local communities as well as further afield.
“Well done everyone! Scotland’s day will come.”
Former SNP leadership hopeful Ash Regan was among the speakers at the rally.

Regan, the MSP for Edinburgh Eastern, called for Yessers to unite around the "gold standard of the ballot box" as she pushed for every future General and Holyrood Election to be treated as a de facto independence referendum.
She spoke of a "Voter Empowerment Mechanism" (VEM), saying: ”Our collective voice empowers us to shape Scotland's future. It's time to unite around the Voter Empowerment Mechanism and the gold standard of the ballot box.
"The VEM offers a clear, democratic route to voice our desire for independence."
Regan backed calls for an alliance of Yes parties, telling the crowd: “It's up to all of you to demand unity from your politicians, make them commit to reason, and seize the opportunities that are available to us now."
The next March is due to take place in Falkirk on September 23.
