A SCOTTISH independence campaign group are set to host a spring conference, hosted by newly elected co-conveners Martyn Day and Roza Salih.
Former SNP MP for Linlithgow and East Falkirk Day and Glasgow councillor Salih were appointed by members of the Scottish Independence Convention (SIC) in December.
Co-conveners Isobel Lindsay and Greg McMarra stood down after three years leading the organisation.
The conference will be held on Saturday, April 5 at the Pearce Institute in Govan. Registration details are to follow.
It will take the form of an interactive event bringing together independence supporters and interested others to shape the group's priorities for the 2026 Holyrood election.
Participants will collaborate to identify and develop the three most crucial issues that should be at the forefront of the independence electoral agenda amid a time of relative stagnation for the movement.
Salih said: “We are looking forward to gather and share ideas with members and supporters. We need positivity and strength, which is what independence needs.
"We know if Scotland became an independent country we will have a fairer society, and that independence is not an ethnic drive but a movement that believes Scotland can be so much more.
"We need to inspire and build support so when the time is here we achieve independence once and for all.”
Day added: “With opinion polls strongly indicating that we may be looking at the largest pro-independence Scottish Parliament in history, there has never been a better time to establish common ground and shared priorities across the movement.”
