Melbourne: India batter Virat Kohli and Australian debutant Sam Konstas got into a heated argument as tempers flared on the first day of the fourth Test at MCG.
Incident occurrs after 10th over
The altercation occurred after the completion of the 10th over during the Australia's first Innings when the players were crossing over. Kohli and the debuatant bumped shoulders while moving across the pitch.
Then they glanced at each other and engaged in a heated exchange of words, forcing Australian batter Usman Khawaja to step-in to separate them.

Konstas scores half-century
However, Konstas remained unfazed and brought up his half-century.
"I think the emotions got to both of us," Konstas later told Channel 7. I didn't quite realise, I was doing my gloves, then a little shoulder charge, but it happens in cricket," he added.

Steve Smith (68) and Konstas (60) helped Australia take honours on Boxing Day in Melbourne. At stumps, Pat Cummins (8) and Smith were at the crease. Austraial's total was 311/6.
