'Incredibly stupid' lout thrown out of pub returned and smashed boozer's windows the morning after

An 'incredibly stupid' lout who'd been thrown out of a pub returned to the boozer the morning after and smashed its windows. Jordan Haworth had been drinking at two pubs in Accrington, Lancashire on a Friday night earlier this year.

But during the evening staff at the Warner Arms and Bee's Knees pubs refused to serve cocaine fuelled Haworth and asked him to leave, Lancs Live reported. The next morning, a number of loud bangs were heard at the Warner Arms.

CCTV footage revealed Haworth, 29, had put his foot through four windows at the pub. It cost the pub £3,196.26 to repair the damage.

Haworth was hauled to court and ordered to foot the bill. At Blackburn Magistrates' Court on Thursday, prosecutor Sameena Chaudhry described the incident as a 'revenge attack'.

She said: "On Saturday July 9 at 10.15am a staff member was upstairs in the office and heard a loud bang followed by two more loud bangs. He looked at the CCTV and noticed that the defendant had put his leg through the windows and was shouting abuse.

"When he was interviewed he stated he had taken cocaine and steroids the night before. He had been refused entry to a number of pubs including the Warner Arms which is why he committed these offences the following day."

Defending, Jonathan Taylor said Haworth, of Great Bolton Street in Blackburn, knew his actions had been 'incredibly stupid'. Mr Taylor said: "He had been out that night and he has become embroiled in a dispute, as a result he left and he tried to get served at the Warner Arms."

Haworth was sentenced to a 12-month community order, requiring him to complete a three-month drug rehabilitation programme. He was also ordered to pay £3,196.26 in compensation.
