Incredible stat shows how long the Queen has lived but will make some Irish people very sad

An Irishman has posted an incredible stat on Twitter today showing just how long the Queen lived, but it’s making some Irish GAA fans very sad.

Queen Elizabeth II died on Thursday, September 8, at the age of 96 surrounded by her family.

Britain's longest-serving monarch passed away at her Scottish estate, Balmoral, as her eldest son and heir, Prince Charles, became the new King of England.

The Queen left behind four children, eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, including Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, Archie and Lilibet.

Tributes have been pouring in from across the globe as many remember her reign as one of kindness and dignity, with people describing Her Royal Highness as an inspiration.

One GAA fan even went as far as to list out the many eras during her reign but said she missed out on one key Irish moment.

They wrote: “Imagine Elizabeth saw off 15 Prime Ministers, 7 Popes, and 14 US presidents and still as Queen never saw Mayo win an All Ireland.”

Fellow Mayo fans flooded the now-viral post telling the poster that he had “won Twitter for the day,” branding his light-hearted comment as “brilliant,” and “witty.”

However, others joked, that “no one ever will boy,” and “sure Charlie won’t witness that either.”
