Eye-watering footage shows a cyclist going straight over the bike's handlebars - and into a recycling lorry.
The clips captured the moment the mystery rider loses control in Newlyn, Cornwall.
The short video shows the man even take the bike with him after the excruciating crash.
An onboard camera inside the back of the recycling vehicle recorded the moment he collides with the vehicle.
With his upended legs only visible for a few seconds, the dazed rider manages to pull himself up slowly as motorists stop further up the hill and run down to rescue him.
The cyclist looks stunned but was thankfully uninjured as he is helped by the three passing drivers, Cornwall Live reports.
Although wearing a helmet, he landed with such force that it appears to have fallen off among the recycling.
Plenty of people poked fun on twitter after the man was left red faced after his brush with the rubbish.
The video found its way onto social media and the comments were cutting.
One user teased: "That's a garbage way to start your day!"
A local wrote: "Newlyn has it all".
Another person says it's clearly a danger zone and put: "Nearly did the same thing at that same section years ago".
