Kostas Tsimikas believes Anfield has already seen why "incredible" Luis Diaz will be a success at Liverpool.
Diaz was confirmed as Jurgen Klopp's latest signing last weekend and could potentially become the fourth most expensive player in the Reds' history after they agreed a deal with Porto that may ultimately rise to £49million.
The 25-year-old winger featured in both games against Liverpool during the Champions League group stages earlier this season.
And after playing against Diaz in the Reds' 2-0 home win against Porto in November, Tsimikas is convinced the Colombia international will have a major impact at his new club.

"Everybody is looking forward to seeing him with the Reds," said the left-back. "Obviously when we played against Porto, I think he was their best player.
"I'm looking forward to meeting him, speaking with him and to be here (for) whatever he wants. I'm pretty sure he will help us a lot.
"Obviously I didn't mark him but I really like his skills. He really goes for one against one, he didn't think too much. I like him a lot as a player.
"I like it when a player doesn't think too much and goes direct to score himself and to try to do something for his team. Hopefully I will see it here also. He's an incredible player."
As well the arrival of Diaz, Liverpool have been bolstered by the return to training of Thiago Alcantara and Harvey Elliott after lengthy absences.
All three may be in contention for involvement when the Reds resume their campaign after the mid-winter break with the FA Cup fourth round visit of Championship side Cardiff City on Sunday.
And Tsimikas is delighted Elliott is back available after his fine start to the season was halted by a sickening ankle injury at Leeds United in September.
"I'm very happy for him," said Tsimikas to liverpoolfc.com. "We are very close. Obviously when he got injured, I felt so sad for him. But finally he is here, he is healthy.
"You saw it from the start, he's 100% okay, you saw again his skills. For us, it's very, very important as a team to have him back as a person and as a player also.
"We are very happy and I'm sure he will help us for the rest of the (season)."
