'Incredible' 22 Kids and Counting stars 'take break' from filming as they issue joint statement

22 Kids and Counting stars Sue and Noel Radford stole the nation's hearts when the let film crews document their daily lives. Their latest series has just come to an end, and now UK's largest family have shared an update.

Taking to Instagram, they told their followers they were going to enjoy a well-earned break following a very busy period. They wrote: "We just want to say a huge thank you for all the love and support you’ve shown throughout our series, we truly appreciate each and every comment and message we’ve received so thank you."

"So chuffed to say our programme was no.1 on ch5 most Sundays and doing really well on my5 every week with it being the most watched programme on my5. We are currently having a well-earned little break from filming before heading into filming series 4 which we are very excited about."

Amassing over 15,000 likes, fans were quick to praise the parents. One person wrote: "One of the best shows on TV, what an amazing family. I was down from Cumbria last week working round the corner from your shop took a few pies home for my family they were absolutely amazing I will be back for more congratulations on the success of the series."

Another wrote: "You are incredible. Excited to see what the next series has in store." A third wrote: "What an amazing family lovely couple and kids. Don't be off screen for to long, enjoy your rest or is that a silly comment."

Sue and Noel Radford, who have 22 children together, spend up to £7,000 on presents just for their children (Channel 5)

During the Channel 5 documentary, viewers were able to watch the highs and lows of having such a big family. Sue revealed that she considered divorcing her husband Noel after a 'nightmare' situation in the early 2000s left them 'thinking about debt' night and day.

The pair, based in Morecambe, met when Sue was aged seven, before becoming pregnant with their first child Christopher, when she was just 14 and Noel was 18. They now share 22 beautiful kids together.
