'Increasing concern' for 15-year-old boy not seen since Tuesday

POLICE are appealing for information to help trace a missing 15-year-old who went missing from the Johnstone area.

Ross McCormick was last seen around 9.30am on Tuesday, June 4 2024 in the Beith Road area of the town.

He is described as being white Scottish, around 5ft 4ins tall and of slim build with short black hair.

When last seen, he was wearing a black hoody, black joggers and black trainers and he is known to frequent the Johnstone, Paisley and Prestwick areas.

Sergeant Paul Crawford said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Ross’s welfare and are keen to trace him as soon as possible.

“Please check any private CCTV or dashcam footage which may help us in tracing him.

“Ross, if you see this, please get in touch with us or your friends and family to let them know you are safe.”

Anyone with information should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 4414 of June 4, 2024.
