1. Inci was born on October 2, 1996, in Richmond, England, to a South Korean mother and a Turkish father.

2. She was introduced to the game at four years old but admitted she initially wanted to be a footballer or magician.

3. Mehmet was awarded a scholarship to the Wentworth club in Surrey, where she became the youngest ever ladies club champion at just 15-years-old.

4. Mehmet represented England throughout her amateur career, with her selection on the Elite England Golf girls squad then progressing into the Women's squad.

5. The British golfer-turned-broadcaster earned full playing rights onto the Ladies European Tour after she finished twelfth during the 2016 qualifying school, the top ranked British player that year, when she was aged 20.

6. Growing up, Mehmet said one of the best pieces of advice she was given was to regularly play with people better than you. Another was "don’t leave a bad shot on the note of being annoyed, rehearse what you could have done better so at least you’ve let the emotion out and have rehearsed what you might have done so you leave on a high note."

7. She participated in the Rose Ladies series in 2020, alongside her broadcasting duties.

8. The Brit first started working for the Sky Sports Golf team in June 2019, joining the team as a pundit for both PGA and LPGA Tour coverage. However, she has since worked as an analyst, broadcaster, commentator, and a presenter for Sky Sports, leaving no stone unturned in her media career.

9. Mehmet also appears regularly at public speaking events, which she has done since March 2018. She shares insight into life on tour, and also working within the media industry and how she manages to balance the two.

10. Mehmet managed to raise £18,485 in May 2020 for the NHS during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, which Halycon Golf Travel Founder Jack Sallis first initiated. Inci's role included promoting the charity auction and gathering items from golf clubs, organisations, and world-class athletes within golf.

11. Mehmet is engaged to businessman, Sam McCarthy. He proposed on May 11, 2024. They have a dog called Simba.

12. Mehmet's favorite halfway hut is the one at Sunningdale Old because of the incredible views and the sausage sandwiches.

13. Mehmet is now a full-time freelancer in golf media, who describes herself as a broadcaster, presenter, commentator, and analyst. She currently works for Sky Sports Golf, European Tour Productions, IMG Productions & UCOM.

14. Mehmet has a YouTube Channel with a series called 'Swapsies.' She regularly takes on tasks or sports from other walks of life and asks her co-star to try golf.

15. Mehmet revealed that when she was younger, her mother used to give her £20 at the weekend and she would spend £19 of it on hitting 19 buckets of balls at the driving range - leaving £1 for lunch.

16. She is currently an ambassador for Adidas and Callaway Golf.

17. Mehmet's dream fourball would be Tiger Woods, Serena Williams, and Steph Curry - (although she has played with Woods before!)

18. Her favorite golf course in the world is the Old Course at St Andrews. Mehmet also believes the best Major is The Open.

19. Mehmet has been quite outspoken on dress codes in golf, stating that they are a significant barrier between more people taking up the game.

20. Mehmet describes herself as an "enthusiastic but average cook."
