Inbetweeners star Emily Atack says she was 'busted for playing kiss chase' at nursery

Flirty actress Emily Atack landed herself in hot water as a little girl – for playing kiss chase.

The Inbetweeners star revealed her parents were called in to nursery to discuss her naughty antics.

Single Emily – spotted kissing TOWIE’S Joey Essex backstage at ITV ’s final Celebrity Juice – joked she has always preferred boys to toys.

She said: “Every break time there was a set of toys and you had to choose a toy and go off and play with it.

“But I wouldn’t play with the toys, I’d play kiss chase with all the boys. That was my game.”

Teachers called in her parents, EastEnders actress Kate Robbins and guitarist Keith Atack.

Emily, 32, added: “I was sitting there all ready for my nice review and they said, ‘We do need to talk about Emily’.

"I felt myself going bright red, thinking, ‘I’ve been busted’. I remember being so mortified.

“My parents sat me down and were like, ‘You do know you have to play with the toys?’.

"I thought kiss chase was a normal thing as well.”

Emily’s tryst with Joey, 32, came during the last Celebrity Juice this week.

Emily told Jack Whitehall’s Safe Space podcast her parents got their own back by embarrassing her as a child.

She added: “They’d turn up for parents’ evening and my dad would be in a full suit and my mum with leather kecks on, and all the other parents going, ‘This is a bit odd’.

“I had the different family and the different parents. Now I look back and I’m so proud of it, it’s great.

“But when you’re a kid you just want to blend in.”
